We teamed up with BBC Active, part of Pearson Education, to bring the first BBC Bitesize apps onto the iPhone and iPod touch. The apps were released in January 2011 and each contain a series of topics with flashcards and quizzes. Users can add their own notes, bookmark flashcards and post their scores to Facebook and Twitter.

Keystone tutors
We worked with Keystone tutors to convert the content from their Chalkboard Learning website into an app for the iPhone and iPod touch. This is one of the first 11+ revision apps available on the iTunes App store and is a great way for students to prepare for their exam.
The app sorts the 200 multiple-choice questions into different types, allowing children to practice those types of questions which they find hardest. They can also opt for a “Random Test” which draws questions from all areas, or try to “Beat the Clock” in which they have a limited amount of time to answer as many questions as possible.
