London, UK - 01 June 2012 - Could bad manners be a thing of the past? Thanks to a new range of apps available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, perfect etiquette is now available to everyone.
EducationApps, one of the UK’s foremost providers of mobile apps for students, has teamed up with William Hanson, the UK’s leading etiquette expert, to bring a series of etiquette apps to the App Store.
The Queen and the Royal Family have embarked on one of their most far-reaching and extensive tours of British & Commonwealth countries in order to mark the occasion of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This means that they will be meeting more people than ever – and all of them will need to know how to greet their Monarch correctly. The ‘Royal Protocol Guide’ App will save them from putting a foot wrong and spare them being sent to The Tower of London.
Hanson and EducationApps are also releasing the ‘Table Manners Guide’ App.
William Hanson is regarded as the UK’s leading expert on etiquette and protocol and frequently appears on television and radio throughout the world. He has worked for VIP households, coached diplomats and public figures, and advised for multi-national brands. He says, “I am constantly being asked how people should greet the Royal Family, or how to eat certain foods. Now there is no need for me! People can just use my Table Manners Guide App instead. I’ll take early retirement now.”
George Burgess, who started EducationApps when he was just 17, says “Our ‘How Royal Are You?’ App may be a bit of fun, but these etiquette apps represent something we think is extremely important. Students these days require more than just good exam results to land their dream job, they also need the people skills and manners, which these new apps cover in a fun, yet informative way.”
